A Snake and a Goose

The rest of our trip was basically driving. We did stop by our friends' house that are on the bmx team on the way home. That was fun. There kids (ages 4 and 2) performed a Brock Gill show. They've seen too many of our shows. They remembered details!

It's been good to be home this week. I made the mistake of bringing Brock with me to the grocery store. I had him go get me some eggs or something and he came back with a goose! So, Brock cooked a goose this week. It was really good. It tasted like a mixture of turkey and duck.

The other day, I hear Brock urgently yelling for me. I came out and saw a bright, almost florescent green garden snake. It was very docile. Brock picked it up and played with it some.

The weather has been absolutely perfect. It's been sunny and in the 70's most of the week. The leaves are georgious shades of orange, yellow, and red. There are some trees in our front yard that look peach. One looks almost fuchsia. It's beautiful!
