The Cruise---Days at Port
Coco Cay was the first place we docked. It's a private island owned by the cruiseline. The cool thing about Coco Cay was that we have a friend, Dan Meyer, (he's a sword swallower) who lived on this island before it was inhabited for 5 years. The owner of the island wanted him to sorta babysit it. He caught his water from the rain and fished every day with a spear. It was so weird thinking of him living on that island all by himself.
The next day at port, we went to Nassau. There we visited Atlantis.

So, I'm wondering... how do you get the job of "island babysitter"? Because it kind of sounds like my dream job. Just curious. :)
ReplyDeleteYeah, I may want to do it for about a week, but then, I'd be ready to see people and go into buildings and stuff. He lived on it while it was uninhabited for 5 years!

ReplyDeleteour really good friends were on this cruise with you guys. they are originally from brazil, but have spent lots of time in the states too over the years...they live there again now. anyway, it was really funny. the girls had a picture of them with brock on their facebook yesterday. ;) so weird when two of your worlds collide. ;)
