Hawaii---Beaches

Okay, I finally have my Hawaii pics and videos together...

PhotobucketSalt Pond Beach. They actually harvest salt here.

PhotobucketThese rocks are lava rocks and they are everywhere on Kauai.

We found out that they used to use this area as their dump. The glass got so beat up on the rocks that they were ground down.

PhotobucketThe Napali Coast

PhotobucketWe found a little surfers beach that we had to kind of sneak through a gate to get to...

PhotobucketIt was worth it, though. There was nobody for miles.

PhotobucketThere were beaches everywhere and we would drive on some of them with our 4 wheel drive.

Photobucket

PhotobucketThe lighthouse

PhotobucketThis is called Queen's Bath because the water comes into these areas of rocks and forms a "bath."

PhotobucketHanalei Bay

PhotobucketTunnels Beach. The reason they call it that is because there are tunnels underneath the corral reef.

PhotobucketKee Beach (view from a hike along the Napali Coast).
