Last weekend was the big Youth Specialties Conference in Nashville. Brock and I were walking around the exhibit hall and a guy stopped us to get a picture taken with Brock. He talked about how he loves his show, especially the ping pong balls trick. Then, after a few minutes another guy asked if he could take a picture with Brock. He said that the kids in his youth group would love him if he got a picture. After I had taken the picture with Brock, the guy said, "By the way, I love the Hurricane album. We used 'Dare You to Move' in one of our videos." I immediately realized that he thought Brock was actually John Foreman, the lead singer of Switchfoot. Brock hears this a lot. However, we didn't know what to say. We had already taken the picture and he was so stoked to show it to his youth group. Brock gave him a high five and we moved on. It was funny! Do you see the resemblance?

Yes, I do! I can understand how that happened! I looked at the picture and thought that Brock had changed hair dressers! Same shape face, same coloring, both had a bit of fuzz on their chins, same shapped nose! Brock, did you know that you had a double!
That is HILARIOUS!!! We've always thought it, too, but the story with it is too funny.
yep.. i have heard this for years.. this isnt the first time this has happened. ha, crazy

We've worked with Switchfoot and therefore have met John. Brock is much taller than John, but that's hard to tell from a picture.
Oh my goodness. That is almost scary. Add Kid Rock to the mix and only a mother could tell. :)

I always thought he looked like Mark from Audio. Then we hung out with them backstage one time and the resemblance went away a bit.
