Another Day in the Life of Brock Gill

Apparently after almost 10 years of marriage, I'm finally used to life with Brock Gill. It's not an average life or a normal life in any way. Since he's always doing things outside the box, there are many parts of our lives that are far from ordinary. Take yesterday for example. We were driving to Walmart to pick up something from our big truck and trailer. The bmx team uses that truck now, so we sometimes park it in Walmart parking lot next to all of the other buses and trailers for the bmx team's convenience.

I was talking on the phone with Shannon when we arrived in the parking lot. I glanced over and noticed that our truck wasn't there. I calmly asked Brock where the truck was. He calmly replied that he was trying to find out. After making a couple of calls, he realized that it was either stolen or towed or something. Because of our past history, I assumed that it was stolen. I finished my conversation with Shannon and then joined Brock at the customer service in Walmart where we found out that our truck had indeed been towed. Shannon said that she wondered how we could be so calm about such an occurrence.

Well, we've had a couple of trailers stolen, a truck catch on fire and burn up, and were almost carjacked, but we've never been towed. I guess there is a first for everything. One thing is true with Brock...life is never dull.

Wow... all I can say is someone is hugely keen to town a vehicle that big away... so what's the deal are you not allowed to park in Walmart anymore???

Love your stories!

So was it towed? - tyler

Yeah, it was towed. Apparently our license plate was a couple of days out of date (we have the new one but simply hadn't put it on yet), so they towed it because of that. That was Walmart's reasoning for towing it anyway.
