Cold Weekend

It was a cold one this weekend. First, we had a show in Evansville, IN where it was a whopping 9 degrees. Then, we tried to sleep while Lucas drove us to Ohio. When we reached the Cleveland area at 8am on Saturday, it was 0 degrees. In fact, it was so cold, that the heater in our truck couldn't keep up. It was freezing in the back of the truck. That's one of the reasons that none of us got any sleep. However, the show must go on.

Our show on Saturday began at 11:30am. After trying to freshen up in the church bathroom, I began setting up immediately. We did the show although it was very difficult to concentrate on little to no sleep. Then, we ate a quick lunch and went to the hotel. After about a half hour nap, it was on to another show in the Cleveland area. Yesterday, we had a show in the afternoon. The only problem for me is that I woke up at 8:30am.

I learned something this weekend. I am a wimp when it comes to cold and no sleep. Why am I so affected? The shows went well considering.
