You could feel the tension as Brock looked around at the 950 middle school students in Arkansas a couple of weeks ago. He had done his normal school message about making the right choices and was now addressing bullying. That's what the school leadership wanted him to speak about. Brock told me, "You cannot stop bullying by one assembly, but I'll talk about it and hope it helps." So, he asked these young people who was a bully and he waited to see if there was a response. After an uncomfortable silence, one sixth grade boy stood up. There are big, tough guy bullies and there are small guys with a complex who are bullies. This boy was the latter. Brock told him to come to the center of the gym and stand beside him. The boy boldly did so. Brock with his 6'4" stance towered over the small boy. Then, something happened. Brock got down on one knee and looked the young man in the eye. He tenderly asked him if bullying was satisfying him. The boy's smirk disappeared as he said, "No." Brock then began to speak to him in front of the whole school. The Lord got all over the boy. Even though Brock didn't talk about God whatsoever, the Holy Spirit inside Brock was oozing out onto this boy. His whole demeanor began to change. At one point, this bully almost broke down crying because his heart was so touched. Brock then said, "Do you want to change?" The boy shook his head in the affirmative. Brock said, "There is hope. There is a group of people in your sixth grade class that will hold you accountable." He then told him how proud he was that he was willing to change. He had the rest of the audience clap for him for his bravery in coming up there and then wanting to change. The whole school exploded in applause! Some people stood to their feet. Others were hooping and hollering. It was like a scene from a movie! Brock's right. We are not going to be able to stop bullying on our own, but the Lord can do anything!

Last week, we were in Louisiana and my mother-in-law brought out my recently finished book that I am writing about the crazy stories the Lord has given us and the miracles He has done in our lives. I had emailed the final version to her. When I looked at it, I realized that she had an earlier draft. I looked on Brock's email for the latest version and to my horror, he had the same earlier draft! I sent them my book as soon as I finished it back in December and had not looked at my it since. I had been using an old computer to write the book on and the battery was bad. I quickly surmised that after I had typed out the final changes and the last chapter, it must have gone dead. Then, when I restarted my computer, it reverted back to the old writing. At that moment, so many things ran through my head. The fact that I could not remember all of the changes I had made. Also, the last chapter was about my struggle with anemia. At the time I wrote it, I was having another bout of anemia. I couldn't feel that same way again! My iron was up at this time! The only good part about having a relapse was that I was able to remember how it felt. Now, all of that was gone. So much work down the tubes. I had put my heart and soul into that last draft. I was devastated and allowed myself to cry for a few minutes. Then, I had a talk with the Lord. I knew that He was sovereign and had His reasons for everything. I knew that He would somehow help me recall what I had written. Maybe it would be even better. Brock had already begun texting people to pray that I would find it. I didn't have much hope in finding it. However, if I was receiving this kind of opposition, that was a good sign right? It was difficult to see the good at all in this, but I trusted that the Lord would make something good of it like He always does. When we got home, I ran for my computer and looked. Just as I had thought, it was the old writings and the newest version was nowhere to be found. I searched everywhere I knew to search but it was gone. I was missing lots of pages. I put the computer up for several days and put off writing again until this week. Monday morning, I bravely opened up the computer ready to take a stab at it again. There on the front page was my book but something looked a little different. Next to the title of the document, it said "(recovered)". That had not been there before. I scrolled down and there it was! After being missing for weeks, the final version of my book just showed up on my computer! That is a miracle! I'm still thanking the Lord. He could have ended this story in so many ways, but I'm glad He chose this ending.

God Gets the Applause
Saturday I nervously headed to the venue for our show alone. Brock was back at the hotel sleeping. Now that he's on 20 something day of his fast, he's a little weaker. Since we had two shows that day and he didn't sleep well the night before, I let him sleep in. The only problem is that I never go to an event without him. We usually have so much to do that it keeps the both of us very busy. How was I going to do this all by myself? I prayed that I would have the strength to pull off both of our jobs setting up. I quickly realized that I wasn't alone. The Lord was working alongside me making everything go smoothly. It was one of the easiest setups ever! The promotor was amazing. The production people were some of the best I've worked with. The bands going on before and after us were easy to work with. It was incredible! The most amazing part was when Brock gave the invitation. Where he lacks in physical strength, he more than makes up in spiritual strength. It is just powerful. My prayer always is that we will be dripping with the Holy Spirit. Right now, He's oozing from every pour of Brock's being. 144 people responded to the gospel. During the invitation, the students who remained in their seats jumped to their feet cheering on the ones who had decided to follow my Lord Jesus! We have received standing ovations before, but saturday, the One who truly deserves it got the applause!

Best Birthday Since I was a Kid
I will remember yesterday's birthday forever. As I left my house to go have breakfast with a friend, Andrea Leachman was watching one of my Alias dvd's on our tv. I love those spy shows...lots of action and adventure! My breakfast with Emily was fun. As she got up to leave, she handed me an envelop saying, "Someone in the bathroom told me to give this to you." Before I could ask her any questions, Emily had left the restaurant. Inside the envelop was a note that said... "As a spy you must always find the clues and details. Remember your training, Agent! Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is this... Find as much intel as you can to locate the double agent in these pictures. We believe he has what we need in a briefcase that will be on his person. Watch for people you may recognize along the way. And no matter what, do not allow yourself to be followed during your mission!!!" The only other thing in the envelop was a picture of Brock with a dark hoody covering most of his face. I looked around the restaurant and did not see anyone I knew. I didn't know what to do, so I began to head for my truck. In the parking lot, Stephanie Smith was sitting in her car honking the horn and yelling, "Hurry! Get in!" She told me to get down because they might see me. I laid down in the passenger seat looking up at the sky as I was driven fast and crazily around town (I found out later that she did crazy eights in an empty parking lot). Then, she took me to a chocolate shop. After talking and eating a few truffles, she said, "You have been spotted! You need to change!" She handed me one of my t-shirts from the backseat and told me to put this on as she began driving us back through town. Before I could say that the shirt was brown and cream and I had on black pants, she said, "He said you have to put it on even if it doesn't match." (Brock knows that I have to match!) Then, she handed me a phone book and told me there was a message inside but it was in code. She took me to J Alexander's where my friend, Danielle Hunt and her baby were waiting for me. I got my favorite dessert in town, the carrot cake, while she ate a salad. Every now and then, she would look around the restaurant nervously. I would look wondering if Brock was there somewhere, but she would go back to talking. After the bill was paid, she said she received some random numbers but felt like it could help me. I looked up the corresponding numbers with the pages in the phone book and on each page, a word was circled. It said, "Party City location at Chicago pizza at 7:30." Then, Danielle said, "Hurry! You've been spotted!" She made me run to the parking lot next door to find a "familiar car" to get away in. After jumping over some bushes, I rounded the corner to see my truck in the parking lot. There was a note on the dash that said I had been spotted and needed to get to the safe house quickly! The gps was programmed to go to this "safe house." It took me to a guitar center. I parked and began to walk in when I saw my friend, Sherri Lynn Sickler sitting in her car by the entrance yelling, "Hurry, get in!" She did much like Steph by making me lay down and I had to change into my biker shorts and tennis shoes. She blindfolded me as she took me into a place that was wall to wall trampolines. We had a blast for an hour even though I looked ridiculous in my brown shirt and black spandex biker shorts. She dropped me off at my car where I found a movie ticket to see "Arno" at the theater in the same parking lot. I realized I only had 5 minutes to get there. When I got into the theater, Brock was sitting in the back. The movie was so on theme like the whole day had been. After the movie, we drove to a new Chicago pizza place in town where 12 other friends joined us for dinner. Right before dinner, I noticed a briefcase in Brock's hand and grabbed it from him! In it was a card and a gift for me. Brock had planned everything to the last detail even down to Alias was playing as I walked back into the house that night because he wanted me to start and end my day with it. He also had water bottles in the cup holders of the truck after I got out of the trampoline place because he knew I'd work up a thirst. He knows that I love adventure and I had an action packed day full of it! It was the best birthday ever!

Different Giftings
Recently, we were given some t-shirts to sell at our table. We are selling them in order to raise money for us to go to Africa and share the gospel. It's wonderful that we have been blessed with all of these t-shirts (more than 30 boxes worth), but someone has to go through them. Today is the day in which I do that. I began at about 8:15 this morning and just now got them all inside so that I can sort through them. It's going to be a while, but I can do this! Brock is going out into the woods today to hear God on vision for our ministry. I started to get overwhelmed by just some of the things Brock said that he was going to be praying about today. As I was walking out to the trailer to collect more t-shirts, I was praying about my overwhelming feelings. The Lord asked me, "Can you go through the t-shirts?" I thought, "Sure!" That's when the Lord told me that He wants Brock to pray about vision and me to go through t-shirts. I can handle that! It struck me funny the overwhelming look Brock had on his face as he saw all of the t-shirts piled up in the living room. It's a good thing the Lord gifts us all differently.

Reset My System
I'm a little sad that my fast is over. I was on a spiritual high like when you go on a retreat or to camp. Now, it's back to the real world. However, I still am carrying some new habits and ideas that I pray I can sustain for the rest of 2013. You know how you are supposed to love your neighbor as yourself, eat healthy, and pray unceasingly? You know you should, but you don't really want to. Your flesh goes...me, me, me. Since this fast, I've been craving those good things. The things I'm supposed to think about, I naturally do. The Lord has put that in me. Please pray that this continues in my life. I've reset my system, and I like it!

Outcome of the Fast
Today is the last day of my fast. Coming into it, I had goals. I was going to pray for our ministry and the book that I am writing to be successful and minister to people. These sound good because they can further the gospel of Jesus, blah, blah, blah. Here's the thing. Since I've begun the fast, I have barely thought about any of these things. Before fasting, I was obsessed with them. Now, I realize how self seeking I was coming into this. I was going to get the Lord's attention by fasting so that He would bless me. Instead, He got my attention and all I care about is Him. With that has come joy and peace, which is better than all the success in the world!

I Got My Joy Back
I was listening to a speaker several months ago who said, "Some of you need to get your joy back!" I thought, "That's me." Because of some circumstances, I was not feeling my usual jolly self. I began praying for joy and I'm happy to report that since I've been on this fast, I have been overflowing with it! I cannot contain my joy! I went to Walmart the other day and told the clerk who hated her job to have a great day! I wanted to rub some of it off on her. Brock's had the same experience. I almost tweeted, "If you need joy in your life, go on a fast." Yesterday, I went back through the notes from that message on getting your joy back and one thing I had written down stuck out to me. It read, "The key to having joy is obedience." Isn't it so like us to want to create a formula? Fasting=Joy. That's not it. Fasting for me and Brock equals joy just because that's what the Lord told us to do. It's the obedience not the fasting itself. For you, it is probably totally different. I encourage you to go out on that limb and be obedient to the Lord whatever it may be. The joy is worth it!

Called to Fast
A few months ago, Brock and I were running around a mile loop track in opposite directions (we were at different paces so decided to do it this way). As I was running, I was praying and felt like the Lord was telling me to go on a fast. As I thought more about it, I wondered when would be a good time and how long I should go. At that time, I felt the Lord telling me, "Don't worry. I'm telling Brock when and for how long." When Brock and I met up again after our runs, I couldn't hold it in, so I blurted out, "I think I should do a fast." Brock said a little surprised, "I was just thinking that!" When I questioned him on when, he said January 1st. When I questioned him on how long, he said 40 days. I thought, "Oh my! What have I gotten myself into?" Praise the Lord that he later told me that I should do 10 days and he would go for 40. I am on day 8 and it has been amazing!!! I'll tell you more later...

Just Give Me Jesus
I'm doing the Beth Moore Bible study about James. I am coming to the end of the workbook and was questioned what I'd ask James when I see him in heaven. You know what I answered? After learning all about how he lead the church in Jerusalem and was called "righteous" and "camel knees," after hearing the mystery surrounding his death, I'd still ask him the same question I would before I began studying him. After hugging him (because I feel like I know him) I'd ask, "What was Jesus like when you grew up with him?" The fact is that the Bible is filled with wonderful characters, but they all dim in comparison to Jesus...just give me Jesus!

The Hope of the End Times According to The Little Mermaid
I was watching The Little Mermaid for the umpteenth time the other day. Disney's villains are so evil and not like the trend in movies right now where we see the humanity of the enemy. Anyway, the sea witch was intervening and trying to ruin Ariel and Prince Erik's life. However, I wasn't nervous because I knew the ending. King Triton would still rule in the end and Arial and Erik would live happily ever after. Toward the end of the movie, the evil sea witch gain's control of King Triton's scepter and has all of the power. Of course, she immediately abuses that power and makes herself bigger than anything in the sea. After a huge fight between her and Prince Erik, the boat drives right into the fat sea witch's belly and destroys her. As I watched the ocean burn all around the sea witch, an idea formed that I have not been able to shake for days. Now, it may sound silly but stay with me on this. Some wonderful theologians have told me that "Revelation" is to encourage the church. Up until this time it did not seem very encouraging to me. It sounds weird and uncertain and flat out scary. However, Satan is like that sea witch in the Little Mermaid. He will try and manipulate and intervene in our lives to ruin them. However, I don't need to worry because I know the ending. I know that in the end, Satan will be cast into a lake of fire never to bother us again, and we, as followers of Christ, will truly live happily ever after. The crazy thing is that there would not be much of a story if there was no sea witch. There would be no happily ever after because their life would be smooth and easy. The problems brought on by evil made the ending all that sweeter. So, no matter what you are going through. Maybe life is not turning out the way in which you want. Just know that you are the main character in your story and if you been truly saved by the power of Jesus Christ, then you will get your happily ever after.

A 20 Year Old Promise Fulfilled
It was my junior year of high school and I was heading out the door when something on TV caught my eye. Billy Graham was giving an invitation to follow Jesus and many were responding. I sat down and watched as people poured to the front. Tears began to fall down my face as I watched these lives being changed right in front of my eyes. At that point, I heard the Lord whisper, "This is what you are going to do with your life." I had no idea what this meant. The only indication as to what the Lord wanted me to do with my life was back a few years before when He told me that my husband was going to be in the ministry and I was going to be very involved. Now the Lord was telling me I was going to do that (that meaning a Billy Graham invitation). I did not truly see that vision come to fruition until last weekend. We were a part of a Billy Graham crusade in Canada. Brock spoke the first two nights and Will Graham (Billy Graham's grandson) spoke the last night. During the invitation, Will invited Brock to come and stand by his side. As the two of them were standing there, that word from the Lord 20 years ago came back to me. Tears began to roll down my cheeks again. The Lord is faithful!

Interview
I have never done an interview in my life until two weeks ago. I did two in one week. One was for a radio station in Virginia. Then, I did one online. Brock is definitely a natural at it and me not so much, but go here if you want to see it.

I Lost the First Dog I Never Owned
I am not an animal person. I didn't grow up with any pets except for a couple of goldfish and two tiny turtles. However, my goldfish ate my sister's fish (I don't think we fed them often enough) and my cousin sat on my turtles killing them (she was a little on the chubby side). So, when a puppy came into our lives I was not especially excited. I was unloading our luggage in my bedroom last spring and there was a puppy...a dirty, nasty little puppy...in my room! A couple of weeks went by and the puppy tended to linger in our yard. Every time we drove up the driveway, the puppy was there to greet us. We found out that our neighbor, Barefoot Billy, had taken him in. He has a tender heart for animals. The problem is that he barely has the means to feed himself and his girlfriend, much less a puppy. The puppy was so skinny. Finally, I gave in and fed him. We taught him to stay on the front porch and not come in the house. He looked like a chocolate lab, so we named him "Caoni" after our favorite chocolate bar. We called him Cao for short. I told Brock he should call him Kay, since that's my sister's name and she had named her dog Haley (which happens to be Brock's sister's name...he always found it weird when they were calling for Haley). The puppy began to grow on me. He was such a good dog. He wasn't loud and obnoxious. He was so sweet and gentle yet full of energy! We had someone living with us at the time, so I had her feed Cao when we were gone. She moved out and we were going to be gone for the whole summer, so I was sure Cao would run away or starve. Then, a guy who was having a difficult time, Randy, moved into our house for the summer. He found a true friend in Cao (K.O. as he calls him which really corresponds with my sister's name..haha). After the summer, we came back and Cao was there waiting for us. Since nobody was living with us anymore I didn't know how we were going to keep the dog fed. A couple of days after we got home from the summer, Cao sat on the front porch all day with me. For some reason, I thought, "This is the last day I will see Cao." It was. He disappeared after that. I was sad, but I didn't know who was going to feed him while we were gone anyway. Brock said that it would be just like the Lord to bring Cao just for Randy's benefit. Go here to read what Randy says about the dog none of us ever owned. It's a touching story.

Prayer for Upcoming Shows
Last week was awesome! We did a show in Baton Rouge, LA and Houston, TX. At one of the shows, an atheist came with her brother and gave her life to the Lord. The Lord broke that wall down in her life and drew her to Himself. At another show, a girl walked into the church from the neighborhood. She had never been to church before. She had been kicked out of school and had a reputation of being a troubled teen. She said that she knew that she was a sinner and was ready to surrender her life to the Lord. That girl was desperate for forgiveness and she received it the other night! I ask you, no I beg you to pray for our upcoming week. Tonight, we perform a date night in Missouri. Pray for marriages. Please take this time to pray for marriages all over Wentzville, MO where we will be tonight. Pray for your own marriage (present or future) and the marriages around you. Pray for marriages across this country. Satan is attacking married couples in a big way. Then, we drive to El Dorado, AR where we perform 4 nights at a big outreach there. We will be in the schools doing assemblies during the day and then perform at a big high school arena at night this Sunday through Wednesday. Please pray for the Lord to work in El Dorado, AR in a huge way. Pray for truth to resound and the Lord to turn darkness into light.

After the Break In
It seems that when you pray, you begin with your agenda, but the longer you stay, the more the Lord's agenda comes out. My initial prayer after the break-in was that the guys would not drain our personal and business bank accounts. Since it happened Saturday night, I was not able to cancel my debit cards until Sunday morning and not the checks until Monday morning. So, I prayed continuously for the guys not to go and use the cards or the checks. When I pray, I picture everything. Using Carl's description, I would picture the guys and what they were doing. I pictured them going back to their poor houses and families. Somewhere along the way, I stopped praying about what they would do or not do and simply began praying for them. We had just been at that event with a room full of teenagers hoping for a bright future. I bet none of them would say that they wanted to be a thief when they grew up. No, theft is for desperate people. I had heard some of those desperate stories Saturday. If I had met that lady living on the street when she was 13 years old, I would have wanted to walk up and hand her my stuff. She was desperate! First thing Monday morning, we went to the bank to close our accounts. I nervously shifted in my seat waiting to hear all of the charges that had been wracked up on our accounts. There were 0 charges that came in that weekend! My prayers had been answered. Now, we just needed to see what the insurance would take care of. I had no idea if they would take care of anything. Brock called and they told him that they probably would not cover the business stuff but they would file it anyway. This was bad new since most of the stuff was business anyway. Later that day, I received a phone call from a bank in Atlanta. A guy had seen our checkbooks on the side of the road and picked them up. He turned them into a Regions bank there (he happened to work at a bank and knew this was what you are supposed to do when you find checkbooks). Through this guy, we found out where he found the checkbooks and had someone in Atlanta go look and see if he could find any of our other stuff. I waited anxiously to hear. Maybe I would get my bag back or my books! (I love books can you tell?) Unfortunately, he did not find anything. They literally threw our checkbooks out. I have no idea why except that is what I prayed for. Monday, we replaced most everything because we were going to a show on Wednesday. The good thing is that our computer began acting up on us at the show on Saturday. We were planning on possibly getting a new one Monday anyway. The only thing we could not replace was our introduction videos that we play at our shows. Then, it hit me! I accidentally left a copy of the videos at the show Saturday! I rarely do that. So, I will have them mail it to us. Tuesday morning, our insurance called us and said that they were going to take care of everything with a $1,000 deductible and $200 cash limit. This means that we are only out $1,400 which we would have paid on a new computer anyway. The Lord worked everything out.

The Best and Worst Day Part 2
As we were coming out of Pappacito's, we saw some of our friends, Carl Cartee and his family, from home walking into the restaurant. We had not seen them in years and stopped to talk for a while. We found it so ironic that we were from the same town yet only tend to see each other on the road. Carl is a worship leader, so he and his wife travel as well. After visiting for a little while, we walked to our truck. We were parked in the lower parking lot right by the steps leading to the upper parking lot and restaurant. Brock clicked open the locks of the truck by his remote and I bounded down the stairs to the driver's side. I was anxious to get home and had already decided to drive us there since Brock was exhausted. I sat down behind the wheel of the truck and adjusted my seat. (I am 5'2" and Brock is 6'4"...much adjustment is needed.) Then, I went to program the gps to go home. "That's strange!" I said. I could not find the gps. Brock asked, "Do you think someone could have stolen it?" I looked in the backseat and my face grew very hot. Both of our bags were gone. When you travel, you carry everything with you in a bag. These bags have our "everything" in them. Passports, my camera, my wallet, my business and personal checkbooks, the ipad Brock got me for Christmas, Brock's laptop that we use to play our music for the show, the book that I was in the middle of (and I had just gotten to the good part), my Bible study book that I had just purchased at Women of Faith and had just begun, my overnight bag with all of my toilettries, priceless magic, magic tricks and dvd's Brock had just purchased from a conference from people from Europe and Canada that would be almost impossible to replace. The list just goes on and on. We called the police and waited a while for him to get there. In the meantime, we called the credit card companies and canceled my cards. Sometime during this, we saw that they had broken the lock on the door. We just had not noticed since we used the remote to open the door.
The police officer came up and we talked with him about everything that was taken and filed a report. Just as the officer was about to leave, the Cartees came down the stairs after eating their dinner. Brock asked Carl if he saw anything since he would have walked right by our truck to get up to the restaurant. He said, "Is this your truck?" He actually saw a guy sitting in the driver's seat of our truck and another guy sitting in a Chrysler right next to our truck. He was suspicious of them for some reason, but what was he to do? He didn't actually see him break into our truck and he had no idea it was our truck. He said that he double checked to see if his van was locked and escorted his family up to the restaurant. We stopped the cop from leaving and told him that we had an eye witness. Here was more irony that our friends were eye witnesses to the crime. We have had much theft in our day but never had we had a description of the thief. For some reason, this helped me. In the other cases (which you can read about here), our stuff was just gone! Now, I at least knew what had happened to a certain degree. Then, I realized something that made my skin crawl and my stomach churn. If the Cartees walked up on them and we were coming out of the restaurant at the same time, we would have walked up on them if we had not stopped to talk. I remembered how I ran up to the driver's door before Brock even reached the truck. I would have swung that door open coming eye to eye with the thief. I have no idea how desperate he would have been or what he would have done. He could have had a weapon or anything. Brock would have been walking to the other side of the truck only to come into contact with the accomplice in the car on the other side of the truck. Suddenly, having our stuff taken was not as big of a deal. God saved us from that one!Posted by AUNY at 12:46 PM 1 comments

The Best and Worst Day
Saturday was the best and worst day. We began our day early in the morning in Macon, GA. We performed at the Georgia Youth Summit's Back to School Bash. There were hundreds of students gathered from all over Georgia for this event. I heard some wonderful motivational speakers. It made me want to be a better person. I heard stories from some that had risen up from such a hard life. One lady was homeless at age 13. I heard a teen mom's story who was so desperate that she was preparing to end her life as well as the life of her baby...until she heard one of the speakers, Gabe Salazar. When we took the stage, I looked out at all of the beautiful teens and my heart went out to them. In a room of about 1,000, there was a lot of hurt. However, I know the God who is the ultimate healer. I could not go to each individual person and ask them what was on their heart, but the Holy Spirit could. I prayed for every student in their and their future. God alone holds their futures anyway. The conference was not religious at all, but I felt the Holy Spirit move in ways that I had never felt before. It really was incredible! It was held at a church's sport's center. The lighting guy there said that he felt God in the place as well. He had goose bumps all throughout the day. It was such a great event for us. We left there on a high and went to celebrate at Papacito's in Atlanta. That's when my day took a turn for the worst...

Spontaneity
During premarital counseling, Brock and I took a personality test. It wasn't your typical test, it simply would tell you if you were off the charts in a certain area. For example, if you are OCD, that would show up as being extremely high in the organization department. Everybody has an area that they are abnormal in...we all have our "things."
Our counselor began telling Brock that he was exceptionally high in one area only and that was spontaneity. He began to explain that if I were really planned and regimented, we would have a difficult time of it. However, I was off the charts in one area only too. That would be "spontaneity."
Twelve years later, spontaneity is still coming into play. Yesterday, we were driving our rental car to the Little Rock airport. We were discussing how much we were dreading the 4 hour layover in Chicago and checking in all of our luggage especially since one of our suitcases had broken on this trip. Brock said, "It would be quicker to drive home." We both looked at each other. "Do you want to?" Brock asked. "Yes!" I replied. I booked our rental car to Nashville and canceled our flight which left in an hour. (I love Southwest by the way. It's the only airline where I could get away with that!) We were home 3 hours before our flight landed!

Leaving for the Summer
In 2 hours I will be heading to Florida for the summer. I have mixed feelings about this. I am ready to go. I've packed up everything and really prepared more than I usually do. However, I am not wanting to leave my house and friends.
Florida is not a bad place to go to work, though. All of our summers in the past have been very hectic. We usually have at least 2 shows a day. However, this summer we are performing one show a week at Big Stuf camp in Panama City. We will fly out of Panama City often to perform in other places such as Ohio, Texas, California, and Oklahoma.
In between the Big Stuf shows when we don't have to fly out, we are staying in Florida. Since it's so expensive to stay in Florida, we are camping on the beach! That's what I said...camping on the beach! I am so excited!!!
