Gypsies or Hippies?

My mom used to call us gypsies when we lived in our truck for a couple of years. However, someone informed me that we're more like hippies because gypsies travel in a group. Hippies are free spirited and very natural. People call us hippies as well. I guess that fits us. We are free spirited, travel entirely too much, don't trust insurance and stuff like that (it's a false sense of security), and try to eat as organic as possible. The only big difference between us and stereotypical hippies is that we're rather conservative politically.

If we could be gypsies and have a dozen or more people with us all of the time, I'd do it. The thing that drove me crazy when we lived in our truck was that we had no community. It was just us all of the time. Some days I wish we could go back to that, but for the most part, I like to be surrounded by friends. That's why this gypsy thing sounds like a good idea. You travel and live off of the land with no schedule with a dozen of your closest friends. Does anyone want to join our group?
