Decisions for Jesus Christ

There were so many decisions made for Christ at this FX. It was a great success. I thought I'd tell you some stories:

One lady had to leave early. However, her watch broke, so she ended up staying until the end and becoming a follower of Christ in the process!

God moved one of the guys in our band, Pablo, during the invitation one night. Pablo said that he could hear a high school guy screaming in his spirit. However, the guy did not move when it was time to talk to someone about becoming a Christian. Pablo walked up to the guy and asked him if he wanted to become a follower of Christ. The guy said yes, but he was a little nervous about it. His dad was in the gang called Blood and his mom is a crack phene. Pablo shared with him and led him to Christ.

Another girl became a Christian on the drive home from FX one night. She was a straight up atheist before. The Lord grabbed hold of her heart and would not let go until she became His.

I like that you don't try to hide th fact your faith is an illusion. Well done. If only more Christians could be so honest.

Simon, I think you have completely missed the point.

They don't portray that Christian faith is an illusion. They show that following the temptations of Satan are an illusion. He tries to blind us with illusions that God doesn't exist and that we are all on our own. Satan tries to tell us that life can be easy and painless.

But it never will be and the Bible tells us that. Life is hard and often quite difficult, but what is real, is a relationship with Christ. We must choose to step out in faith, even if we can't see it, feel it, or even hear it.

Brock and Auny do this every day. They are ministers of Christ's love. I pray that the illusions you have been blinded by will be broken down so that you will be able to see their real honesty and pure faith.

Simon

I also think you have missed the point.

All one has to do is know Brock & Auny and one will know immediately that NOTHING about their faith is an illusion! They illustrate in their illusions their FAITH!

I pray that some day soon you will trust their God and you will see that He is REAL--there is no need to hide behind illusions.

Hmmm...I'm pretty sure Simon is being sarcastic here.

That's OK, though, Simon...we've been warned that people will make fun of us for believing in Jesus Christ. It never comes as a surprise, and (believe it or not) we're blessed by it:

"Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me." (Matthew 5:11, NIV)

I hope you'll visit often and read some more of Auny's stories. They're pretty cool.
