Busy Day at Home

Yesterday was a busy day at home. Actually, we didn't make it home until last night. Saturday night, we drove from Indiana to Nashville. It was going to be a late night, but not too late. We stopped at a restaurant and got our food to go to speed up the process. Everything was going well until we got to Louisville, KY. They shut down the interstate for the Derby or something. Who completely shuts down an interstate in a large city? Apparently Kentucky does. After going only one mile in 30 minutes on the "detour," we decided to take our own detour. We took back roads. It was an hour and a half out of the way, but we would probably still be sitting on that interstate right now if we would have stayed there!

Then, we dropped Stephy off and went to the Franklin Walmart parking lot. We stayed there in the truck for the night because it was after 1am and we had to be at our church right down the road at 8am. Brock did another opening for the service yesterday morning. You can watch it on pclive.org.

We rushed out of church in order to make it to our friends' baby shower. It was more like a picnic. Guys and girls attended and it was fun. However, since I was bringing the drinks and such, we were in a hurry. We left there at around 3:30 or so and went back to the truck in order to get ready for that night. Brock spoke last night at a singles gathering for our church. Finally, we were able to go home and both crash!
