Vermont and NYC

We drove thru Vermont, and it was beautiful. It was in the upper 40's, but there was still snow on the ground. I took some cool pictures of an old church, a barn in the snow, a covered bridge, and a diner sign. We ate lunch in an old diner train car. The restaurant used it as one of its rooms. The chairs in the booths looked as if they were the actual used in the train. They reminded me of church pews. We passed by a school in Vermont, and they were sledding during their recess.

On our way back to Baltimore, we decided to stop in NYC to eat dinner. We've been to the City a few times. However, we've never been to the upper east side. It was a cool area...less touristy and more residencial. Everyone in the little Italian restaurant where we ate were locals. We went into Bloomingdales. It's 11 stories tall! They had a visitor's center just for the store. We ate dessert at Serendipity. We waited 30 minutes for a table, and the host said it was the least busiest night of the week. When we began eating our chocolate cake (which was the best chocolate cake I'd ever had), cheesecake, and sipped on our frozen hot chocolate (what they are known for), we realized what the fuss was all about. It was fabulous!

I order Serendipity's frozen hot chocolate online, which you can prepare whenever you want it! It's just to die for!!! I would LOVE to actually go there and try their famous chocolate cake. I am very jealous!
