"...And He Didn't Have Any Pants On!"

Yesterday, we went over to some friends house to celebrate someone's birthday. One person was talking about how awkward it is when you are trying to tell a funny story and nobody is laughing. You keep adding comments to make it more humorous and you just dig yourself deeper and deeper. Some people say, "You had to be there." Some say, "I'm an idiot!" My best friend in college would always add, "...and he didn't have any pants on!" That seemed to work everytime. Adding these few words to any story makes it funny. I told the whole party about the pants comment and we had a fun time using it all day. So, next time you are telling a funny story and your audience is giving you blank stares, just add, "...and he didn't have any pants on!"
