Robert, Red Tide, and Really Good Food

Yesterday was so fun! We began our day with a run. Then, we jumped in the pool at our hotel. There, we met Robert. Robert was probably about 19, but mentally he was about 8. He was funny! At one point, he screamed and said that a lobster had got him (even though there were no such kind of things in the swimming pool). We hung out with him while in the pool. He simply wanted someone to play with.

Then, we met a couple of friends that we know from camp for lunch. We happened to meet them at our favorite restaurant...Barbara Jean's. They have a few on the east coast and Jacksonville is one of the locations. It was fabulous, as usual.

After lunch, we drove to Daytona Beach. They happened to be having another bike week called Biketoberfest. This was a nice surprise for Brock! We drove down onto the beach because Lucas had not been to the beach in a while and we can always go to the beach. We noticed that nobody was on the beach. Soon, we figured out why. All three of us began to have some kind of allergic attack. We were sneezing and coughing. We could barely breathe. So, we left. We found out later that Red Tide was causing that kind of reaction.

From there, we drove to Orlando, checked into our hotel, and went to dinner. It was a great day!
