Monday night, we had a going away party for a friend and celebrated our friend, Mallori's birthday. She turned 26, so we all brought her 26 of something. She's a very fun girl. You could tell by the presents she got. She received 26 lollipops, crayons, markers, chocolate covered strawberries, etc. It was great!
We kept it a surprise by a couple of our friends telling Mallori that only the three of them were going out for her birthday. When she came around the corner and saw all of us there, she began to cry.
Then, our friend that is leaving for over 2 months came for Mallori's birthday and was surprised when we gave him a care package. It was a loving night between friends.
Pray for us today. We are going out to do school assemblies here in Portland, TX. Then, we'll do a show tonight.

Aww it all sounds so sweet. Off topic I know but I am really curious what happened with the smoke detector. :)
Brock got it from the yard and I think that it's okay because it didn't rain or anything. However, nobody knows why it would beep when there was no battery in it. It wasn't beeping the next morning.
